Single vs Double Card Slot
- Single slot — the most common configuration. Holds one key card. Simple, clean, lower cost. Standard for most hotel properties.
- Double slot — holds a key card plus a loyalty card or business card. Popular for loyalty programme hotels where guests carry a membership card alongside their room key.

Standard leather does not block RFID signals — guests can tap the card to the door reader through the leather sleeve without removing it. If you specifically need RFID-blocking (to protect against card skimming), we can add a thin metallic RFID-blocking layer inside the holder, which prevents both skimming and contactless tapping. Most hotels prefer non-blocking holders for guest convenience. Specify your preference when enquiring.
Order 1.5× your room count as a starting stock. For an 80-room hotel, order 120 pieces. This gives you a 50% buffer for guests who take holders home or for damaged stock. After 6–12 months you’ll have a clearer picture of your actual depletion rate and can calibrate future orders accordingly. Since our MOQ is 50 pieces, replenishment orders are straightforward — no need to over-stock on the first order.
Yes — we can add a printed room number or floor/wing designation to each holder. This requires individual customisation per piece and typically adds $0.50–1.00 per piece to the cost. It’s popular for larger properties where guests occasionally confuse key cards. For boutique hotels where room numbers are well-known, this is usually unnecessary. Ask us about this option when you enquire and we’ll advise on the best approach for your property size.
For reorders of existing approved designs, production typically takes 12–15 working days. Rush production (7–10 days) is possible for an additional charge. DHL Express delivery adds 5–7 working days. If you need an urgent replenishment, contact us as early as possible — we’ll give you an honest assessment of what’s achievable. We recommend reordering when your stock drops to around 30% of your standard holding quantity, which gives comfortable lead time without over-stocking.
Yes — and this is something we specifically offer.
